Photo Contest - Greyhound Gathering Kanab 2010

Zola Show off your gorgeous hounds to everyone at the Gathering, and potentially win some really nice prizes. Best Friends photography team will be the judges. 100% goes to help Almost Home for Hounds.

What:
Show off your photos of your hounds, for all at the Greyhound Gathering to see. All proceeds benefit Almost Home for Hounds. This is an amateur contest. Really cool prizes will be awarded. Last year's prizes were a private photo session with Molly Wald, Best Friends photographer; a framed photo from Barb Karant from Greyhounds Book; Greyhounds Coffee Table book.

Who:
Gathering guests can bring three photos with them to enter. The incredible Best Friends photographers will choose their favorite photos from all entered.

Where:
Photos will be displayed at the Best Western Conference Room (where Silent Auction and vendors are), during the Gathering on Friday, Saturday.

When: Gathering attendees can bring up to three photos, to enter at the Gathering on Friday. Winners will be announced at the Gathering on Saturday night, at Angels Landing dinner party.

How:
$10 entry fee for one photo. $15 entry fee for two photos. $20 for three photos. Gathering Guests only. Photos must be 8 x 10 or 4 x 6. Put your name, dog name, address, phone, email address on the back of the photo. You can get your photo back on Sunday, before you leave.

Enter your photo at the Gathering on Friday, from 11 – 4, or 8 – 10 pm, in the Best Western Conference Room at Photo Contest booth. Cash, Visa/MC/Discover or checks accepted.

We will accept all photos which meet the guidelines, and admire them all. As with all photo contests, images that evoke emotions, are unique, are clear without a lot of background distraction stand the best chance of winning prizes. And I always give away the best prizes.

Some Guidelines:
Color or Black/White.
Glossy or Matte.
8 x 10 or4 x 6.
You hold the copyright.
Contact info must be on back of photo.
