Auction Shopping

We had a greyt time at last year's Gathering showing off merchandise donated by wonderful people, and giving you a chance to 'win' it. This year you will also have many chances to "win" items and help greyhounds. Please be generous with your bids, as every single penny goes to help greyhounds still in need. Hopefully, there will be so many items that no one should go home empty handed!

Times of Auctions

Silent Auction - to be determined

• Fri, May 4, Noon - 4pm; 7:00- 10 pm
• Sat, May 5, 8- 10 pm
• Sun, May 6, 8 - 9:30 am - Auction ENDS - results posted 1/2 hour after closing and at Sunday Lunch

The majority of items will be in the Silent Auction.

1. There will be a sheet next to the item with spaces for names and bid amounts.
2. You put your name and bid amount on as many bid sheets of your choice.
3. You can bid as many times as you like.
4. Each bid should be in dollar increments. This means every time you bid higher, the bid must be a least one dollar more than the previous bid. You can, of course, bid higher than one dollar.
5. A few of the items will have a reserve. A reserve means that if a certain price is not reached, the prize may be held for another auction. This shouldn't happen, however <G>.

Live Auctions - at Orientation, at Lunches and Dinner

• Fri, May 4- Orientation at 6:00 pm
• Sat, May 5- Lunch at Frontier Movie Town, Dinner at Angel's Landing
• Sun, May 6- Lunch at Frontier Movie Town

At Orientation and each lunch and dinner, we will have about 20 special items to be bid on LIVE. We'll start the bidding at one price, and then you can shout out your bid, and get acknowledged by the auctioneer. Bidding will continue until there are no more bids, and the item is yours. You can view the Live Auction items in the to be determined room.

Note: Bid increments for all auctions need to be in dollar amounts. Some items will have a reserve.
