From the exhibition program:
An obvious dog lover, William Wegman has been a champion of animal rights and generous benefactor to animal charities. Thus, it seems only fitting that this exhibition of his graphic works should benefit Greyhound Adoption of Ohio's "Last Chance Fund", Greyhound Gang's "Leg Up Fund" and KC Greyhound Support's "Haul Fund".

Once the subject of legend and great artists, the greyhound has become the commodity of the greyhound racing industry. Despite falling revenues, the racing industry continues to survive' and tens of thousands of greyhounds continue to be destroyed every year. The benefitting groups rescue those greyhounds that have been injured during racing or relegated to breeding farms. Otherwise these special cases have little or no chance to live beyond their racing days.

Shaheen Modern and Contemporary Art is donating Wiliam Wegman's superb print "Overview" to benefit these funds.
